My Story

I used to work as an optician, but now I'm a freelance medical writer. My main goal is to make medical information easy to understand. I've gained a lot of knowledge from my time in the medical field, and that includes skills like problem-solving and paying attention to even the smallest details. Now, I'm using all that experience to explain complex ideas in a simple way. I wholeheartedly believe in clear communication and making sure everyone can grasp what's being said.

 

One great example of this has to be when I was asked to manage a contact lens business. Understanding how things work in a clinic, like the step-by-step process that patients go through, became my focus. And you know what? I came up with ways to make those processes even better, and the business grew by 10% in just six months! That achievement was noticed by some important people in the company. When asked how I managed this, my answer was "effective patient communication."

 

Currently, I'm based in Bahrain, still doing what I love. Relocating to support my husband's career forced me to reassess my own path and consider other ways of contributing. As a medical writer, I write in a style that helps doctors and other medical professionals get their messages across effectively. I'm good at taking complex words and making them easy to understand for anyone. I've always been great at creating useful guides, and now I'm extending that help to others too. I can easily adapt the material to suit varied audiences and needs.
